Stacked Europe is one of the biggest regions to watch out for in the upcoming TI. While big teams already have their own direct invites, another one will be joining them after the upcoming regional qualifiers.

TI10 Is Now The Biggest Prize Pool in Esports History

The European Regional Qualifier will be held on July 7. Winner of which will be joining Team Secret and Alliance in The International (TI) itself on August.

However, EU seems to be wasting many teams’ potentials in the upcoming qualifiers. Big teams including the winningest team in TI, OG, will be one of the competitors. OG will be competing with Liquid, Tundra, and Team Nigma. With four of these power houses, only 1 will proceed to the bigger stage.

Europe TI Regional Qualifiers Schedule

July 7 (Wednesday) (GMT+8)

  • Team Nigma vs Hellbear Smashers (5:00 p.m.)
  • Vikin.gg vs OG (8:00 p.m.)
  • Tundra Esports vs Brame (11:00 p.m.)

July 8 (Thursday) (GMT+8)

  • Spider Pigzs vs Team Liquid (2:00 a.m.)

Europe TI Regional Qualifiers Format

In the qualifiers, 14 teams will be battling head to head in best of three matches. All matches will be in double eliminations bracket.

The finals will be proceeding with a best of 5 series.

This year’s The International may be the most shocking just yet. In SEA, TNC will be missing The International after having a consecutive years of appearing in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Europe is spelling a worse scenario for the region. Many fans are very anxious about how the qualifiers will proceed as many people’s hearts are split among the power house teams.

One of the biggest disappointment in the story would be OG missing out The International. This, despite the team being the defending champions. Meanwhile, many are also nervous for Nigma as losing would spell absence for Kuroky after having the longest year streak of appearing in The International.
