EVOS, your MPL Indonesia Season 7 Champions are facing some big issues!
EVOS Legends announced that they will be facing their adversaries in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC 2021) without their core veterans Muhammad “Wann” Ridwan and Ihsan “Luminaire” Besarik.
Despite being MPL ID Champs, it appears Evos will be in their weakest state moving forward towards MSC 2021.
According to Wann, he will be taking a break from the competitive scene due to personal reasons. Wann has been one of the biggest deciding factors for the team, especially in the first week of MPL where the player proved his worth.
The announcement came out following his strong performance. Fans speculated that since the team emerged as champion, Wann will be back after MPL.
EVOS’ coach Zeys however announced through his Instagram that there will be no Wann comeback for the MSC 2021.
“It’s not fair if we suddenly ask Wann to play. So please try to understand his position. If he makes a comeback, it will happen when he is very ready,” the coach told through his post.
Appearing in one of Jonathan Liandi’s Empetalks, Wann told that being burnout is the biggest culprit of his break.
Meanwhile, Luminaire who is told to be the strongest player in Indonesia, tells a different story.
The player told that he is deciding to skip MSC 2021 as he was not feeling the excitement for the tournament.
“Honestly, I don’t have any adrenaline at all for MSC 2021. I am worried that I will be toxic to the team if they force me to play because I have no goal of winning the MSC,” told Besarik.
In both player’s absence, the top options for their replacement are REKT or Rexxy, assuming EVOS will not have their own personal options.
Luminaire and Wann are both vital in EVOS’ success. It’s really shocking that both player are not feeling the drive to compete for the team. Does this mean EVOS is having some internal issues?
