EVOS MY might no longer be existing due to Tencent’s own rule!
According to Hyprgame’s source, EVOS MY office is shutting down by June. The source told that the decision is due to Tencent’s multi-franchise rule.
Based on Tencent’s rule book, EVOS MY has to close one market in order to continue its operations. With this case, the organization decided to close its Malaysian presence.
Currently, the powerhouse esports organization holds teams in multiple SEA countries. Such countries include Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, and Singapore.
With their Malaysian arm closing by June, its PUBGMY team in the country appears to be in danger.
The organization has been operating massively in the country through its PUBG MY team. Unfortunately, the team is yet to secure any win that the organization can really brag about.
As of this moment, the organization has yet to release a statement regarding this issue. Given the circumstances, it’s expected that the organization will be gone in Malaysia by June.
