Is this a repeat of what happened four years ago?
Reports say that SMG will be having a roster change while their DPC Season 2 run is on going. The change said that it will involve Mushi himself.
In history, JJ Lin, Singaporean pop artist, joined the Dota 2 scene early this year prior the DPC 2021 Season two. The said team was formed with Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung as the captain.
Prior the DPC Season 2, SMG had some roster changes which involved signing MidOne on the team.
It has been three weeks since Mushi had not joined the team’s DPC matches. His absence got noticed by Southeast Asian casters and asked Nea “Neah666” Campbell about the reason to which he responded, “roster changes”.
As replacement, Roger “Roddgeee” Tan, player of Malaysian/Australian descent had played for SMG in Mushi’s behalf.
Roger has his own good history of professional Dota as he had been playing in SEA region since 2013 for different organizations. With his presence for SMG, the team now stands on a 4:0 high ground, a second place in the SEA Lower Division in DPC Season 2.
Four years ago, it could be remembered that MidOne allegedly snowballed himself into Fnatic which eventually kicked Mushi out of the picture.
