EVOS Luminaire Compares Bigetron Alpha to Dota 2 Bot

EVOS Legends’ Grand Final match with Bigetron Alpha is arguably a surprising match for MPL Indonesia S7 fans and spectators. Even though EVOS Legends won the match, Luminaire still felt its own impression against Bigetron Alpha.

In his Instagram live with GPX Donkey, Luminaire shared his experience against BTR Alpha. He felt that BTR Alpha gameplay is different in general.

“You know AI BOT in Dota 2? The hard one is difficult, right? I felt that BTR is Dota BOT. Really (based on) textbook, if they don’t need to be aggressive, well, they don’t want it. If people want to be aggressive, go ahead, right? It’s like Zeys’ dream team, you know,” explained Luminaire.

Dota 2 BOT is not just any ordinary BOT. In fact, many articles have discussed that Dota 2 BOT is difficult for casual players. The Dota 2 BOT difficulty level is divided into several levels: passive as the lowest level, until the highest are hard and unfair levels.

Donkey also agreed with Luminaire’s comparison. As a pro player, Donkey admitted he plays as a thug and always wants to play aggressive.

“Yes. BTR is really programmed,” replied Donkey when he told him how he felt when he saw their grand final match. He continued to praise BTR Alpha for playing with discipline when they were in certain conditions.

Unexpectedly, the BTR Alpha gameplay is considered to be Zeys’ dream team, which is fixated on the coach’s direction and is not hungry to always play aggressively. Luminaire suspected this is why BTR Alpha managed to crawl from the lower bracket to the grand final.
