Nindy Ayunda’s Husband Faces Up to 20 Years in Prison

Nindy Ayunda’s husband, Askara Parasady Harsono, was charged with three cases all at once: he has allegedly broke the laws on psychotropics, narcotics and firearms. An unlicensed firearm carries a 20 years maximum penalty. Thus, Askara Parasady could face up to 20 years in prison.

During the trial at the Central Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, it was mentioned that a clip of a Happy five drug was found in Askara Parasady’s Gucci bag. When searched by the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Detective Unit, Askara was cooperative. The Happy five drug were found with nominal weight of less than one gram.

Upon these findings, the police conducted a search at Askara’s office in Bekasi, West Java. During the search, a glass pipette to inhale the methamphetamine was found on his desk.

Firearms were also found by the police at his residence in Pondok Pinang, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. The pistol was a Berreta caliber 6.35, complete with an ammunition box containing 50 bullets. The status of firearms was also declared unlicensed or illegal.

Nindy Ayunda has not yet given any response regarding the court’s decision that day. When Askara was officially arrested by the police, Nindy didn’t give any comment about her husband’s drugs. Nindy only speak through her Instagram Story, “Thank you for all the prayers, attention and enthusiasm for me and my family 🙏🏻”. The Indonesian singer visited her husband in detention on 27 January, 2021, after giving testimony regarding the illegal possession of the Askara’s firearm.

The divorce process for Nindy Ayunda and Askara Parasady is also underway at the South Jakarta Religious Court. However, Nindy did not want to discuss her divorce lawsuit against Askara.
