Indonesian Actor Rio Reifan Arrested in Drug Case for the Fourth Time

Police arrested actor Rio Reifan on suspicion of drug abuse. The 36-year-old man was arrested at his home in East Jakarta, on Monday night.

It was not the first time that the soap opera actor from ‘Tukang Bubur Naik Haji The Series’ (A Porridge-Seller Performs the Hajj) experienced drug problem.

Rio was arrested for a drug case for the first time in January 2015. Then, he was arrested for the second time in August 2017. Finally, he was arrested again in August 2019. From Rio’s hands, the police secured 0.0129 grams of crystal methamphetamine.

The snare of the drug law has not prevent Rio from repeating the same thing. When police secured at his residence, they confiscated evidence of methamphetamine narcotics.

His ex-wife, Henny Mona, gave a response regarding Rio’s arrest. She admitted that he just got the information about Rio’s arrest from the media.

“I just found out from friends. I’m still concerned, but that’s the way of life he chose,” said Henny.

“I would have been disappointed if I’m still his wife. Now, that’s his way of life. Hopefully he can get guidance,” she added.

After the repeated drug-related cases by Rio Reifan, Henny Mona filed for divorce in June 2020 at the Bekasi Religious Court, West Java. Henny also revealed she was officially divorced from Rio. Then, Henny Mona got married to an actor Sandy Tumiwa on March 7, 2021.
