Ex-SBTC Star Player Venus Arrested for Drug Possession

Bui Nguyen Quoc Hoang, also known as “Venus”, was arrested for possession of drugs, according to reports. He is known as a professional player in League of Legends.

This news shocked all LoL fans. Before that, the former SBTC player mysteriously disappeared for the remainder of the season. Most notably, he was in the match between SBTC and SGB. Although Slay was banned from playing, SBTC’s coach decided to use Noway instead of Venus. The explanation for this “disappearance”, teacher Ba shared, was that SBTC has lost contact with this player since the defeat match with GAM and it is likely that he will have his contract terminated.

This makes fans raise questions. Was it because of his arrest, so the former TS’s support cut off contact with the SBTC team? Because if not, it will affect the image of this team.

Venus (Bui Nguyen Quoc Hoang) is known to the community as a professional player in Vietnam League of Legends. He started his career in 2016 in Saigon Jokers. He then moved to playing for Young Generation. Venus made his debut at Worlds in 2017.

In 2018, Venus switched to play for FFQ and later Team Secret. In this team, he can once again participate in Worlds 2019. After the VCS Summer 2020 ended, he also announced his departure from the team, and became a free player.

It was not until the second leg of the VCS Spring 2021 when SBTC Esports needed additional staffing to be in the Top 4, Venus was chosen. He became the next “blockbuster” of the team in the season. Here, he can also play with his best friend, AD carry Celebrity.
