Saksa Struggles with Mental Health, Withdraws From Riyadh Masters

Tundra Esports support Martin “Saksa” Sazdov is set to miss the remainder of the team’s campaign, the tournament announced on Saturday.

“Due to illness, Saksa will be flying home tomorrow and not continuing in the Riyadh Masters. We wish him a speedy recovery,” the tournament said in an announcement.

The 28-year-old Macedonian Dota 2 star also made a personal announcement on Twitter, sharing that he has been struggling with sleep, anxiety, and mental health problems lately.

Saksa apologized to his teammates for his last-minute decision. The former OG standout said that he will be supporting his team from afar.

“Have been struggling a bit lately with anxiety, sleep, and mental health. And due to that, I won’t be playing more at Riyadh,” said Saksa.

“Sorry to my teammates and Tundra for doing this last minute and I’m thankful for them supporting me this whole time,” he added.

Tundra Esports currently sports a 0-2-1 win-draw-loss standing in the tournament.
