Mobile Legends: Bang Bang scored big in the 2023 Mobile Gaming Awards (MOBIES) on Saturday.

The M4 World Championships, which was held in Jakarta, Indonesia earlier this year, was named the Mobile Esports Tournament of the Year.

The M-Series beat the likes of Brawl Stars World Finals 2022, Free Fire World Series 2022: Bangkok, PUBG MOBILE Global Championship 2022, Honor of Kings International Championship 2022, and CODM World Championship 2022.

“There was a lot of sweet memories, there’s quite a lot of, I would say, pain as well and at the same time good ones being made in terms of like making this world championship series happen in Jakarta,” said Kelly Chiew, Head of Public Relations for Moonton Games.

Chiew also made sure to extend her utmost gratitude to everyone who made the staging of the fourth edition of the M-series successful.

“It was really quite an experience for everyone and I just really, really want to take the chance to thank my staff, my wonderful team as well, especially the marketing, production, [and] logistics teams that worked so hard for this moment that helped us achieve another world-breaking PCU as well in terms of viewership,” said Chiew.

“It’s just amazing and really, thank you so much to our fans, our players, our gamers because at the end of the day you guys are what really matters. Thank you so very much for the support.”
