In spite of his absence from the team for a few days, Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales delivered an outstanding performance in ECHO’s thrilling 2-1 victory over the resilient Omega Esports in the MPL Philippines Season 11 on Friday evening.

The 21-year-old gold laner had to rely on online practice for the past few days because he welcomed the birth of his daughter.

Bennyqt expressed his deepest appreciation to his teammates and the entire ECHO organization for understanding his situation.

“Actually, there were adjustments in our practice, and I am very grateful to the management and coaching staff for understanding my situation right now,” Bennyqt revealed.

“Even though I only practiced scrims online, I am happy that we are winning, and for every scrim that I participated in, even if my communication was sometimes unclear, I knew that my team was still thinking that I was with them on the seat,” Bennyqt added.
