International Pop Star Jessica Sanchez to Perform in MPL PH S11 Playoffs

International artist Jessica Sanchez is set to perform at the MPL-PH Season 11 Grand Finals on May 7, 2023, 4 PM, in what promises to be the grandest MPL Philippines Playoffs season yet.

The Filipino-American singer-songwriter will perform her own rendition of “Lakas ng Pinas” with the song’s composer, Alisson Shore, and the two grand finalists of the country’s biggest MLBB tournament.

Sanchez, who rose to fame after placing second on American Idol’s eleventh season, has been making waves in the music industry since her debut.

The 25-year-old singer has released a number of successful albums and has performed in various countries, including the Philippines, where she has a massive following.

“I am excited to perform ‘Lakas ng Pinas’ alongside Alisson, who poured his heart into crafting this song,” said Sanchez. “It’s an anthem that perfectly expresses the incomparable competence of Filipino MLBB athletes in gaming and esports. I hope the MPL PH community is as excited as I am.”

Apart from Sanchez’s performance, the playoffs will also feature MPL imports from Indonesia and Malaysia, who will be cheering for their former teammates.

The grand finals day will witness the top two MPL Philippines teams battling it out for the most-coveted title and representing the country in the upcoming mid-year international tournament, MSC 2023.

The MPL Philippines Season 11 Playoffs will welcome more than 2,000 daily offline spectators to watch the world’s strongest MPL nation’s tournaments set from May 4-7, 2023.
