MPL MY Clamps Down on Unfair Treatment of Madness Esports Players

Moonton has recently made a Facebook post addressing the welfare of Madness Esports players in the MPL MY league.

According to the post, MPL MY received a statement from the team management and players regarding the issue.

“SELEPAS MENGKAJI DENGAN LEBIH TERPERINCI, PIHAK MPL MY MENDAPATI MADNESS ESPORTS TIDAK MEMBAYAR GAJI SEPENUHNYA MENGIKUT PERJANJIAN YANG TELAH DITETAPKAN DI DALAM KONTRAK PEMAIN DAN JURULATIH PASUKAN TERSEBUT,” the post reads.

This comes after numerous posts surfaced about Madness Esports not receiving any salary and having to pay for food with their own money. This has caused a backlash in the community as it has been alleged that the manager ran away with the sponsorship money.

(As a professional league, MPL MY prioritizes the welfare of its players and will not tolerate any injustice against them. Therefore, they have decided to take action against Madness Esports.)

“We will withhold the winning prize due to the organization’s failure to fulfill the contract terms and directly channel the cash prize to the players and coaches,” MPL MY stated.

The league hopes the issue can be resolved amicably between the two parties and that all parties remain focused on the playoffs this weekend.
