Talon Esports forced a tie at the top spot in Group A of the Lima Major after scoring two consecutive draws in the third day of the group stage.

The third-seeded team from the Dota Pro Circuit Southeast Asia continued its impressive run and tied the Gaimin Gladiators (3-2-0) at the number one spot following its matches against Team Spirit and PSG.LGD – which both ended up at 1-1.

The team actually started the day on the wrong foot after losing to former The International champion Team Spirit in Game One via a 27-8 domination which lasted for only 37 minutes and 45 seconds.

Rafli “Mikoto” Rahman and Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong came alive in Game Two and powered the team’s 45-25 bounce back win. Mikoto’s Puck once again put up monster numbers with 14 kills and 18 assists against just four deaths while Jabz’s Nature Prophet tallied 11 kills and 25 assists with five deaths to come out with a draw.

Talon Esports picked up where they left off and dominated PSG.LGD to open Game One. Jabz’s Nature Prophet once again stepped up and delivered 11 kills and 16 assists against two deaths in the 35-8 triumph which lasted for only 26 minutes.

Unfortunately, the team could not replicate the win as they fell in Game Two to settle for another draw, 28-15, in 33 minutes and 18 seconds.
