7.32b Released – Heavy Nerfs Dropped on Strength Offlaners

Valve released the new alphabet patch 7.32b to address and nerf some of the heroes with strong kits, such as strength offlaners.

Although 7.32 has been around for a few days now, it seems Valve took action quickly to nerf some heroes. Some of the biggest nerfs were done on tanky offlaners with Strength attribute.

One of their biggest nerf that 7.32b has done would be on Soul Ring, which now costs more gold.

Currently, Soul Ring’s price now costs 855g. Previously, the price of the item is only at 700g, which enables heroes to get the item at around 2nd-3rd minute mark.

However, with this nerf, now they have to get 2-3 extra last hits before getting the item.

One of the bigger nerf would be on Ammar’s signature hero as well– Mars. Previously, Mars can attack while he is stunned by activating Bulwark with Aghanim’s Scepter. Now, Mars can no longer do it and the soldiers will not attack if Mars gets stunned or disarmed.

There were also small nerfs such as bonus hero damage towards God’s Rebuke, and Arena of Blood extra manacost.

Undying also became one of the heroes who received nerfs on his abilities. The bonus Strength from Decay after buying Aghanim’s Scepter is now nerfed to 8. His Tombstone cooldown is now increased by 5 seconds as well.

However, with the buffs he got in 7.32, it seems it would only affect Undying to a small degree.

Although tanky offlaners faced some nerfs, the same did not apply for Underlord. Instead, he gain a sizeable buff to his Firestorm damage, which now scales by 20 damage per level instead of the previous scaling one.

It’s possible that Underlord got his buff to compensate with the Soul Ring nerf which affects him greatly, as the hero likes to rush the item from the offlane.
