EG managed to defeat Quincy Crew with little difficulty since they coasted past them by 2-0. They have now forced a 3-way tiebreaker.
Although many expect the match to be close, EG showed their improvement with Fly in their match against Quincy Crew. They managed to defeat Quincy convincingly with a score of 2-0, and now looks towards the Arlington Major in sight.
With this victory, EG now forced a three-way tiebreaker with Nouns and Quincy Crew.
As expected from Fata’s draft, Quincy Crew used Sven support for the first game of the match. The result unfortunately did not work that well for QC, as they struggled to take control of the game.
EG’s rock solid draft is effective enough to finish the game at 28th minute with QC only getting three kills in total.
Second game of the match appeared to be closer than the first game. This time, FATA’s experimental Razor support is able to contribute more than his Sven’s support in the first game. Quincy took control of the early game although EG managed to even out the game during the mid game.
QC almost won the game at the 45th minute after winning a major teamfight right outside EG’s base. However, they stuck around for too long and EG’s buyback enabled them to turn it around and win the game at the 46th minute.
With this victory, there is now a three-way tiebreaker in the NA DPC for the major qualifying spot. All three of EG, nouns, and QC will fight for the two spot that will qualify to the Arlington Major.
It will be interesting to see whether nouns can qualify to their first major, or will EG just straight up dominate the tiebreaker matches.
