Jerax confirmed that he is currently coaching Team Liquid since he got the boot from EG recently. Why is he not coaching OG instead?

A familiar figure have been in the background of Liquid’s players cam over the past few weeks. Fans immediately recognized the figure as Jerax, who have been coaching Liquid since his departure from EG.

Turns out, he became one of Liquid’s three coaches after a decision to step away playing professionally.

After defeating OG with a score of 2-0, the WEU DPC panelist decided to interview Jerax. When they asked Jerax about his experience as a coach, he seemed to like it so far.

“I’m really liking it (being a coach), I think it’s challenging, every day there’s something new.”

“I feel I have to learn a new set of tools and master, and I feel it’s a lot harder than I thought in the first place.”

Jerax went on by saying that now he greatly respects coaches as it is definitely not easy to be one. He continued that so far, he’s been enjoying his new role as a coach for Team Liquid.

Jerax also explained that right now, Team Liquid has three coaches in total, which are Blitz, Jabbz, and himself.

“We coach different things. Blitz is handling the “human resources”, I am the “gameplay”, and Jabbz is the “analysis and statistics” guy.”

The interview definitely shine a light at how top teams operate with two or more coaches. The edge can be seen directly after Liquid gave OG a trashing, even with OG seemingly impossible to beat at the moment.
