EG Outdrafts Major Finalist TSM, 2-1

EG defeated the Major grand finalist TSM with a score of 2-1.

After receiving poor results during the Stockholm Major, EG seems to have rediscovered their performance in the DPC NA Tour 3. They managed to beat TSM in a pretty tight match and ended with the score 2-1 for EG.

With this win, EG is now at the top of the DPC NA Tour 3 standings and has the opportunity to go to the Arlington Major.

In the first game, EG got a draft that was quite superior to TSM with Sniper carry and Viper offlane. Nightfall, with Viper, managed to control the pace of the first game and make space for the other cores to shine in the midgame.

As a result, EG won the first game in the 28th minute very dominantly.

TSM tried to bounce back in the second game by picking their own Sniper core. The decision paid off and Bryle looked very comfortable with Sniper in the midlane. This pushed EG’s heroes to hopelessly try to catch him throughout the game.

TSM also took over the second game and made the match 1-1.

EG once again showed Fly’s strength in drafting with a very precise hero pick in the third game. Razor and Troll Warlord made the third game into EG’s possession with their skills that countered all cores from TSM.

However, the third game was very fierce with TSM taking over the map both in the early and midgame. Unfortunately, TSM seemed to be in too much of a rush in the late game and were constantly caught outside their base when they had the gold lead.

EG quickly took advantage of the situation and ended the third game in the 36th minute. EG won this match with a score of 2-1.
