Smurfs are starting to get banned by Valve after latest updates!
All Dota 2 players on average already have experience against Smurfs, players who use accounts with low MMR. They give many reasons to justify the smurfs, such as for practice.
However, Valve has started to act more proactively and is taking steps to eradicate the smurfs in Dota 2.
The Smurfs have recently become popular due to the many complaints from Dota 2 players, such as streamer Gorgc. He went berserk after having a hard time battling smurfs who seemed to be ranked in the top 50, or even top 10.
His complaint has become popular on various social media including Reddit, and Valve seems to be starting to take firm steps.
It can be seen from the latest update that Valve released in Dota 2, that they held a warning in Dota 2 about smurfing. There is a special message from Valve that will appear if a player gets banned for being caught wearing Smurfs.
Many players hope that Valve can continue to consistently eliminate smurfs from Dota 2.
