Valve immediately disqualified VP after using Russian war symbol in-game.

A controversy that involved the war situation in the real world that should not have been carried over into the game. However, one of the VP players, Pure, doesn’t care about that and draws a Russian war symbol in a very controversial game.

As a result, his team was disqualified from the EEU DPC and their fate is now very unclear.

BTS as the organizer of the DPC EEU immediately issued a statement after one of the VP players, namely Pure, drew the Z symbol or the Russian war symbol on the map. It drew a lot of protests from various Dota fans for bringing a sensitive situation into the game.

For that matter, VP who played under the name Outsiders was immediately disqualified from the DPC EEU.

This incident occurred while Outsiders were playing Mind Games in the first game of the DPC EEU for the remaining major spots. Pure drew the symbol of the Russian war, namely Z, into the Dota in-game map. His teammates immediately rushed to try to remove the symbol, although it was too late.

There is no further certainty what will happen to the VP team or Outsiders, whether they can still compete in the DPC EEU or not in the next season.
