HOTD Support Meta Needs Nerf?

The current tournaments, especially in DPC Regionals, have started playing a new meta, namely HotD in support. And that’s because of this 1 creep.

If you participate in DPC tournaments, then there is 1 item that really stands out and players often buy it. In fact, they also bought this item even though they were support. That item is the Helm of the Dominator, or HotD. Apparently, the item is in the overpowered phase.

HotD can become a priority for the support because of this 1 neutral creep, Harpy Scout.

This became a highlight for WEU DPC analysts after Tundra Esports defeated Nigma Galaxy with a score of 2-0. Tundra is one of the teams that is famous for taking advantage of their players’ micro abilities , specifically 33. This has to do with the Harpy Scout creeps they take.

The creep can provide a fairly large and already detected vision. As a very important part of gameplay, vision is crucial if you want to clash or team fight.

Therefore, there is some concern about the Harpy Scout starting to run rampant with HotD. However, there are also those who think that this item is only used in pro games. In pub games, few people can micro effectively.

Even so, there are still opinions that both HotD and Harpy Scout items need to be nerfed in later patch.
