Techies for Comp? Dota 2 Reworks Finest Demolition Crew

Dota 2’s upcoming patch is going for something explosive involving Techies!

In a tweet, Valve announced that patch 7.31 will be seeing a “rework to the contentious crew of Techies Demolitions!”

Techies arrived in Dota 2 years ago, and the hero’s been bringing destruction ever since. From the annoying sneaky bombs, Dota 2 made it much worse by giving the hero the capacity to make the bombs move after being placed.

Since the news of the rework broke out, many fans raised their mixed opinions on the issue. Dota 2 personality Jake “SirActionSlacks” Kanner also raised his 2-cents through a brief tweet, “WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY BABIES.”

Ahead of this announcement, the hero’s always been both either annoying or useless. Following several changes on the hero, Techies has always been playing the same way.

Techies, played by most players, are always utilized with all the surprises, and random bluffs which play on the opponents’ minds.

In the upcoming update, it appears the annoying hero will be carrying the biggest change. With many pros praying for massive changes, this change for the suicide bomber might actually be the one.
