In the reshuffle of BOOM’s roster with Filipino players, the organization’s CEO, Gary Ongko Putera, stated that Palos is almost 100% to become part of the permanent roster.

Gary told all the BOOM’s changes in the Dejet Podcast, released on Wednesday (29/09).

Gary revealed his initial plan, which was to keep Mikoto and FBZ in the team. He also thought about taking some players from Galaxy Racer. However, there was a change of plans because the free-agent players wanted packages to move, between three and four people.

Thus, the final decision is with these current rosters.

Gary also revealed that Palos was not part of the original plan. He admitted that he had done a trial for carry for BOOM before. However, unexpectedly, BOOM decided to include Palos in the line-up three or two days before the BTS Pro Series S8.

With satisfactory results in BTS Pro Series S8, Gary can only ensure that Palos is 90% sure of joining BOOM.

The CEO of BOOM shared similarities with BOOM and Palos during the BTS Pro Series S8 last week. For information, Palos played at the internet cafe because of no internet network in his area. Gary immediately reminded Dejet that BOOM had also played at the internet cafe during the tournament in the past.

Right now, Gary is quite confident with the current lineup. From the first player that Gary approached, Skem, to adding Tims and Yopaj to the team.

At the end of the podcast, Gary shared his opinion about “BOOM PH” spreading in the community. For him, this is one of his ways of keeping the Indonesian Dota 2 team. He believes that everything will pay off if the tournament trophies will be sent to the BOOM gaming house in Indonesia.
