The secret is finally out: Team Secret acquired the full Valorant roster of Bren Esports.
This announcement marks the entry of the global esports brand to the Valorant scene. The announcement came just a day after Bren Esports announced that they released their roster, dubbed as the “Kings of Southeast Asia.”
This means that Valorant pros Jessie Cristy “JessieVash” Cuyco, Jim “BORKUM” Timbreza, Jayvee “Dubstep” Paguirigan, Riley “witz” Go, and Kevin “Dispenser” Te will now be representing the European-based esports organization. Head coach Gilbert “Gibo” Sales Jr., was also retained.
The players have likewise changed their Twitter usernames to identify that they are now representing Team Secret.
the former Bren Esports members were the first Filipino team to qualify for Valorant Masters Berlin after winning in the VCT Challengers SEA. Due to visa issues, they were unable to join the tournament.
The team withdrew from the competition after issues regarding their travel papers.
