Natsumi has vacated his seat from OB.Neon!

OB.Neon and Natsumi- Part Ways

OB Neon’s support/carry player John Anthony “Natsumi-” Vargas was told to have parted ways with the teams.

In an announcement, the organization has bid its farewell to its player after playing with him for 200 games.

Neon's Natsumi- to miss ONE: Singapore Major, deemed 'unfit to travel'

The departure was not a shocker as Natsumi- was absent during PNXBET Invitational which drew speculations. As a shocking turn, Tims of TNC played as a stand-in for the player.

Following some wild speculations, Tims left his position to clear all permanency assumptions from fans.

Giving a wilder turn, Mark “Shanks” Redira formerly from Omega is now playing as a replacement for Tims.

While Shanks will be playing as a replacement, it’s still unknown whether the player will hold the seat permanently.

It is now time for us to part ways, we wish Natsumi- all the best for his Dota career,” told Neon in an announcement.

With the multiple shocking changes, Neon is now expected to play with this roster:

  • Rolen Andrei Gabriel “skem” Ong
  • Erin Jasper “Yopaj” Ferrer
  • Michael Roi “Enryu” Ladines
  • Mark “Shanks” Redira
  • Jaunuel “Jaunuel” Arcilla

Natsumi’s run with the team was arguably short as he only played 200 games for the team.

Vargas joined the team 2020. His entry proved to be crucial as the team was able to secure second place in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021 Season One.

Despite his impactful presence, Natsumi faced a disastrous misfortune. In the Singapore Majors where he helped the team qualify, Natsumi was deemed unfit to travel.

While absent from the team, Neon still managed to pull up a darkhorse story after placing 5th-6th in the Majors.

With the team’s run, many questions were raised regarding the player’s impact on the team, especially his permanent position.
