SLP goes to the moon as Axie Infinity goes down the hill.
Following SLP’s peak at USD $0.42 (21PHP), Axie Infinity faced a long downtime following Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attacks.
In an announcement uploaded by Axie Infinity, the game’s marketplace and the gaming experience were having issues due to said DDOS.
Axie explained that somebody was spamming the server to try and make it unstable.
“The Marketplace is currently having issues due to a DDOS attack. That means somebody is spamming the server to try and make it unusable. ETA for a fix is 30 minutes. Funds are safe as always. Thank you!” they wrote in a tweet.
On their official Discord channel, Axie Infinity reported that their teams are already working to resolve the issues.
They said that they already hired new members to their team to aid in resolving their issue.
The team also specified that their engineers are already looking into the bugs happening in the marketplace. In this issue, players are having trouble buying Axies that are stuck and cannot be purchased on their website.
More so, the team also promised the team will stand strong amidst sabotage. They told that the team will work as one to overcome their obstacles.
