NXP Opens Wild Rift Tryouts After Kicking Original Line Up

Days after it released its roster, NXP is now looking for a replacement for its Wild Rift team.

Nexplay (NXP) disbanded its roster and is now looking to rebuild its team all from scratch.

The organization who’s also famous for its Mobile Legends team is now looking for fresh professional players to fill its Wild Rift team.

On Facebook, NXP announced publicly that they are looking for players.

“We are opening a door of opportunity to aspiring League of Legends: Wild Rift Professional players for our male team. We believe that there are talents that need discovering with the flaming will to conquer the rift.” their post read.

In their announcement, they requiring a 1,000 minimum of ranked games from players with a 50% up on win rate.

NXP Wild Rift Looking for Applicants

As per the rank, NXP is also requiring a minimum of Diamond rank with a 60% win rate both in Seasons 1 and 2. Lastly, players must also have a big pool of heroes to choose from for a possible secondary role.

NXP is also setting 16 years old as the minimum age requirement for players. All selected players shall undergo tryouts to measure their capabilities even more.

NXP Co-Owner Gives his Comment

Adrian Rob Son, co-owner of NXP, told that this is the organization’s way of coping up with the progressive Wild Rift.

“Wild Rift’s competitive scene is indeed progressing. This progress requires every esports team to cope up with the current meta. One cannot be lax and have to maintain progress, or you`ll get left behind,” he said in an interview.

Son added that their tryouts will allow them to sift the best players from the public.

“This search for young bloods would allow us to sift through the players from skillful and persevered ones. [And those] who are willing and have the capability to pursue and adapt things through including change. It’s not just the skillful ones or intelligent ones who survive, it’s the ones who can adapt!”

Days ago, NXP has disbanded its experienced roster after its ups and downs in the scene.

NXP’s previous roster landed on several titles for this year alone. The former team had won the SEA Icon Series PH Preseason.

The team however struggled in the Icon Series PH Playoffs where they finished 5th-6th.

With the ugly placement, the team failed to qualify for the Summer Super Cup which boasted a $150,000 (roughly P7.5 million) prize pool.
