Fabricated? Joey Chua’s ex-husband just gave as a hint.
Malaysian artist confirmed that she is actually dating Taiwanese actor Darren Wang. The rumors initially started with the paparazzi catching the artist kissing Darren last month.
Chua was previously married to Ivan Soh who recited their vows in 2016. After two years of marriage, the couple decided to end their relationship in 2019. The couple however denied the reason for their divorce.
The exes maintained a good relationship despite ending up in divorce. The artist has been in contact with Soh even appearing on “Youth With You 2” where she was a contender.
Chua Expresses Moving-On With New Song
Chua also released songs in 2020 which seemed to be dedicated for her ex. The songs were entitled “Bye, See You Later,” and “I’m Sorry, For Both Me And You (对不起 送给我和你)”.
Her songs drew some buzz after the release as many were thinking there could have been some bad blood between the two. Chua however clarified the speculations they were merely just songs. “Let us live a good life. (We) are well, we all need to move forward. (It’s) just a song, thank you,” she wrote on her social media.
Connecting to the song, Chua definitely moved on as her music had a direct turn at least in their feels. In April this year, Chua joined “A Journey For Love (怦然再心动)” where she met Chen Yue who expressed in her which she eventually rejected.
Chua’s New Found Love
Chua however found her love actually from the same show. In May 26, Chua and Darren Wang were spotted dating. Fans were even given a treat when the new couple were caught kissing in public.
Regarding rumors, Chua’s ex-husband Soh confirmed on Facebook that his ex-wife was indeed in a relationship with Wang. “I wish you no trouble in the years to come,” he told.
He also added that he’s wishing himself happiness as well. “And I wish myself happiness too.” he told. Soh’s friends also were quick respond saying, “You deserve better,” and “Take care, bro“.
