Team Secret: Valve Would Force a Remake if They’re on Our Side

Team Secret just gave us a hint on what happened in their game 2 total remake versus Team Nigma.

In a tweet uploaded by Team Secret, the team teased on being favored by Valve should they get a remake on their controversial match versus Nigma last night, June 3.

“If Valve is REALLY on our side they will force a remake on us again ….UNLESS?!” Secret told on Twitter.

The said tweet drew some spectacle as many fans replied expressing their mix emotions.

Many fans told that Team Secret should not be blamed for the mishap. According to them, it was not Secret’s fault as it was totally Valve’s decision to have a total remake following the technical difficulty which forced players to abandon the game.

“With all due respect… It was clearly a shit decision made by Valve, but Secret offered to have a complete remake.. I don’t understand why the hate for the team..” one Twitter user told.

Team Secret Explains

In another tweet, Secret explained that they offered to have a remake with new drafts. The offer however did not happen as Valve took over and decided on the matter instead.

“For the record, we offered a complete remake with new drafts but ultimately the decision was taken by Valve and we have no say in it. F” the team explained.

Apparently, Valve’s inconsistencies caused the trouble. Aside from having a faulty server during a big tournament, the organization did not also have any contingency plan for such cases.

Following the technical issue, Secret and Nigma proceeded with the said remake where the Puppey-led squad turned the tides dominantly versus the Middle-East-based team.

After their game 2 win, Secret fought iG for a decisive game where they lost 2-0. Invictus Gaming went on to face Nigma for a tiebreaker where they quickly lost in game 1.

The said tiebreak shouldn’t have happened if Nigma were able to complete their dominant run in the cancelled game 2.
