At that time, they were preparing for the Playoffs in MPL Indonesia Season 7 but other pro players start gossiping about Watt not participating in the Playoffs. Watt is one of the strong players who can bring the game. No wonder there were rumors about Genflix Aerowolf disbanding after the MPL Indonesia S7 Playoffs.

Nevertheless, it turns out all Genflix Aerowolf players, including Watt, participated in the Playoff round. They even won 2-1 against RRQ Hoshi. Until the end of the Playoffs, GFLX managed to get the third place.

During the Playoffs, GFLX Clay was interviewed by Indonesian esports media regarding these issues. He revealed that the problem with Genflix Aerowolf’s management was indeed true. It’s not only affecting Watt, but also everyone on the team. In fact, they almost didn’t want to appear in the MPL Season 7 Playoffs. However, they decided to stay professional to carry out their duties.

“Watt’s issue (about) not wanting to play is actually all of us. We don’t want to play either. It’s just, we (have to) play, we have nothing to lose. There is something behind it,” Clay replied.

Contract issues and player rights had also occurred in the NXL> Kingslayer team in MPL Indonesia Season 1. Due to internal problems, they let go of the NXL> alliance and retained the name Kingslayer.
