P-Pop Group SB19 Nominated to Billboard Music Awards Beside Top Int’l Artists

SB19 makes history!

P-Pop group SB19 of got nominated for the prestigious Billboard Music Awards (BBMA) 2021, and is the first Filipino group, and also the first in Southeast Asia to be nominated in the said music awards.

Famous Filipino-American social media star Bretman Rock got the privilege to announce the artists nominated in their category via livestream.

Alongside SB19 as nominees are Ariana Grande, BTS, Blackpink, and Seventeen! All international-class of artists!

The said nomination brought excitement to the Philippines, especially to the P-Pop group themselves who tweeted their gratitude and pride as Filipinos.

“WE MADE IT, A’TIN! We are nominated for Top Social Artist of this year’s Billboard Music Awards! We are so grateful for your love and support. We wouldn’t have come this far without all of you. THIS IS OURS! Wave the FLAG!” SB19 posted on their Twitter page.

The same nomination is also the first for SEVENTEEN and BLACKPINK. This will the 7th time for Ariana, while BTS has won Top Social Artist in the last four years.

SB19 rose to fame following the release of their comeback single “What?” in March. The group has been on top of the trend since then.
