Looks like Dota 2’s 7.29c has dropped a very massive nerf hammer which has definitely hurt Beastmaster!

Beastmaster, the most-picked hero that players exploit for easy wins has been rescaled, together with other heroes such as Monkey King, Dawnbreaker, Hoodwink, and Snapfire.

Based on the released patch notes, Beastmaster’s Wild Axes no longer grant bonus damage from the scepter, although his Inner Beast passive will now have an increased attack speed by an additional 5 points in each scaled level.

Along with his skills, his talent tree also got massive changes, a reason for pro players to rejoice as they will no longer be threatened by the then overpowered hero.

The recent update also gave massive changes to the newest hero Dawnbreaker whose Celestial Hammer got a slight nerf as the skill will now have a mana cost of 110/120/130/140 scale from the flat 110 before.

Hoodwink on the other hand got another buff. The hero’s Bushwhack now has a wider radius, an increased projectile speed, and a rescale on its stun duration on each scale.

Snapfire did not escape the nerf hammer as well. Her Lil’ Shredder skill also got rescaled from 50/60/70/80 to 50/65/80/95 mana cost. The buff duration also of the same skill got reduced from eight to six seconds.

Changes also in the general sense of the game got slight changes. The Water Rune which initially had a 100/80 hp to mana now got reduced to 80/80.

Slights changes on some items were also included such as the Solar Crest whose original attack speed bonus was 65 got reduced to 55. Sange and Yasha also got a slight change whose 30 percent regen amplification got reduced to 25 percent.
