Guilty as charged?

Alliance allegedly tried to get casters fired from DreamLeague

All the issues Alliance is facing has yet to end as another new one just started.

Dota 2 caster Austin “Capitalist” Walsh in Side Pull Podcast revealed that the management of Alliance has filed a complaint against him which they filed to ESL and DreamHack, the office where he works for. Walsh specified that Alliance is targeting him and Jorien “Sheever” van der Heijden because of the interview that they had with Linus “Limmp” Blomdin.

Capitalist told that their interview did not sit well with Alliance. “Apparently some people were not happy with our interview, and that would be the Alliance management…and [they] decided to go ahead and talk to both talent and our superiors to file a complaint about…the way we conducted our interview,” he told.

He also added that this was already the second time that they have filed a complaint to his bosses, and that Alliance seems to be serious in taking away his bread and butter.

“This is actually the second time that management has filed a complaint with our bosses about the show. So I take my livelihood very seriously…and that obviously, you can tell, has made me really mad.” he said.

During the interview where Alliance got mad, Capitalist and Sheever conducted an interview with Limmp after winning versus Tundra Esports and asked questions relating to the team’s cheating accusations.

Capitalist and Sheever continued to dig deeper and asked questions regarding the team’s communications, and whether it was allowed or not. Sheever specifically asked questions regarding the legality of ppd joining in the team’s comms which was followed up by Capitalist with another question.

According to them, they specifically chose Limmp for the interview as they thought he would be calm and professional in answering questions. Apparently, it was otherwise as the interview looked awkward for the viewers.

Dota 2 legend Loda takes swipe at analysts: "Stop making it sound so simple" | GINX Esports TV

Loda, CEO and co-owner of Alliance, found the interview very alarming which made him respond to the allegations through Twitter.

“Alliance never filed a complaint regarding talent predictions, this is a ridiculous lie. I personally attacked the talents for making predictions like clowns, that is all.” he told.

According to Loda, the team’s only complaint were informal as they were mere callouts to Capitalist and Sheever’s allegations. He added that they did not file any formal complaint to pressure them.

Whatever the real situation is, this seems to have a negative impact on Alliance, and Loda himself for having several controversies which includes physical violence.
