Korean team DRX and European crew Fnatic led the playoff casts so far after making quick work of its opponents in the group stage of the Valorant Champions in Los Angeles.

DRX swept the double-elimination groups with a 2-0 record defeating Loud first with a 2-1 victory before taking down NAVI with another 2-1 triumph in the winner’s bracket.

Fnatic, on the other hand, had a more dominant run, sweeping Zeta Division, 2-0, in its first match before repeating the same results against Bilibili Gaming in the winner’s bracket to top its group with a 2-0 slate.

DRX and Fnatic are also joined by Paper Rex which likewise recorded a perfect 2-0 record while Evil Geniuses also topped the bill in its pool with its own 2-0 slate.

LOUD and FUT Esports are also advancing to the next round after finishing second in their respective groups. LOUD outlasted Navi in the decider match, 2-1, while FUT didn’t break a sweat in dispatching T1 with a 2-0 win.

With that only two slots were left in the playoffs with Giants and Edward Gaming disputing one while the winner between NRG and Bilibili Gaming also claiming the last one.
