Blacklist International has revealed its lineup for MPL PH Season 12, with a notable absence of two core players.
The official roster announcement on Facebook stated that Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario will be taking a break for this season. T
his decision follows speculations that the pair would step back after failing to retain their MPL PH championship and losing to ONIC Esports at MSC 2023.
In light of their temporary departure, Renejay “Renejay” Barcase will step into the starting roam position, while former ONIC PH jungler Stephen “Sensui” Castillo will take on the role of the team’s jungler.
The roster will also include experienced players Edward “EDWARD” Dapadap, along with the return of Kiel “OHEB” Soriano and Salic “Hadji” Imam.
Notably, Coach Kristoffer “BON CHAN” Ricaplaza will make a comeback to the main squad after taking a break from the previous season.
This is not the first instance of the duo opting for a break; they previously took time off during Season 9 following their victory in the M3 World Championship.
Additionally, this season holds a special significance, as the grand finalists will earn the opportunity to represent the region in the upcoming M5 World Championship.
