RSG Philippines team manager Lexie Yambao revealed the reason behind Jhonard “Demonkite” Caranto’s unexpected transfer to RSG Malaysia.
Yambao said that the emergence of John “1rrad” Tuazon last season forced the organization to ship Demonkite to its sister squad in Malaysia, providing both players equal opportunity to thrive instead of having them compete for one starting slot in RSG PH.
“The beauty kasi na merong mga sister teams is you get to transfer players when we want and when the team needs it so we decided na we’ll focus on Irrad for this season and then we will transfer Demonkite to RSG MY,” said Yambao
After skipping Season 11, Demonkite made his return to RSG PH’s official lineup in the Snapdragon Pro Series. Unfortunately, the team failed to make it deep into the playoffs.
