NAOS Esports, Bleed Esports Get Outright Semis Spot in VCT Ascension

NAOS Esports and Bleed Esports both came out on top of its tight group stage race to book an outright semis spot in the VCT Challenger Ascension – Pacific playoffs.

The Filipino team NAOS dominated ONE Team to formally break free from the tight race for the top spot in the Alpha Group. NAOS ended up the group stage with a 3-1 record avoiding further complication as three team found themselves in deadlock for the next three spots.

Boom Esports and Fancy United Esports beat Xerxia for the last two spots in the playoffs for the Alpha group via a better map standing despite being in three-way tie for the second spot with 2-2 records.

Boom had a 6-5 map record while Fancy registered a 5-4 slate as compared to Xerxia’s 5-6.

On the other hand, Bleed also claimed the top spot in the Omega group despite a tie with Scarz. With both squads sporting identical 3-1 records, the Malaysian-Singapore crew seized the pole position via the winner over the other rule, all thanks to its 2-1 victory over Scarz during their group stage match.

Bonkers got the last spot in the playoffs with 2-2 record.

Both NAOS and Bleed now awaits their opponents with the former facing up against the winner between Scarz and Fancy United while the latter taking on the victor in Boom vs Bonkers clash.
