RSG Slate PH jungler John “1rrad” Tuason claimed that he is a better Lancelot player than Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno of ECHO.
1rrad stated such following RSG Slate PH’s 3-2 win over ECHO in the MPL Philippines Season 11 upper bracelet semifinals where he put up an impressive performance on the assassin hero that allowed his team to stage a comeback in the series.
KarlTzy’s name has been etched to Lancelot ever since his God-like performance in the M2 World Championships where he led Bren Esports to the title. His phenomenal stint using the hero even earned Lancelot the exclusive M-series skin for champions.
“‘Di naman sa malaki ulo, or sa way na ganun, pero para sa akin kasi mas malakas ako mag-Lancelot sa kaniya e. Kaya kaya ko i-dominate yung [game] sa Lance,” said 1rrad.

The former Z4 Esports jungler made a crucial play during the 23rd minute of Game 4, disrupting ECHO’s plan to take the Lord which allowed Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo (Minsitthar) to secure the objective.
That play gave RSG Slate PH the opportunity to send the series to a Game Five and eventually take the game.
“Kanina, parang naha-hype ako. Sobrang saya ko kasi yung player kasi na yun sobrang tinitingala ng mga players so natalo ko siya, ayun sobrang sarap sa feeling,” 1rrad said.
1rrad also praised KarlTzy for an impressive showing of his own.
“Marunong kasi ako mag-aral ng player. Kumbaga, si Karl nakita ko sa kaniya sobrang talino niya mag-laro. Na-feel ko na napakalakas niya mag-shotcall, napakatalino niyang pumwesto,” 1rrad bared.
“Pero ako nakita ko yung butas sa kaniya na mahina siya sa mechanics, so doon ko dinaan yung laro.”
