Team Liquid Enters DreamLeague Final After Epic Game 2 Win Over GG

Team Liquid made it to the grand finals of DreamLeague Season 19 after sweeping Gaimin Gladiators in the upper bracket finals last Saturday.

Michał “Nisha” Jankowski’s Monkey King and Samuel “Boxi” Svahn’s Skyrathmage joined hands in Team Liquid’s solid 44-20 Game One victory in 35 minutes.

The 22-year-old Polish mid laner tallied a game-high 18 kills and 15 assists without a single death while the 25-year-old Swedish offlaner came up with 17 kills and 20 assists against just three deaths to help Team Liquid grab a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three series.

Game Two went the distance but it was Team Liquid who stood out in the end as they nabbed a 47-47 win after 76 grueling minutes to become the first team to enter the DreamLeague finale.

Michael “miCKe” Vu finished with 19 kills and 13 assists against 10 deaths on Muerta while Aydin “iNSaNiA” Sarkohi’s Chen finished with a game-high 33 assists laced with four kills and seven deaths.

Team Liquid will take on the winner of the Gaimin Gladiators-Shopify Rebellion lower bracket finals match-up in the final match which will determine who gets the outright spot to the Riyadh Masters.
