Gaimin Gladiators have emerged victorious in the 19th season of DreamLeague after a closely contested grand final against Team Liquid, 3-2.
The tournament, which featured some of the best Dota 2 teams from around the world, saw Gaimin Gladiators come out on top and take home the championship title, as well as an eye-watering $300,000 dollars in prize money.
Under the leadership of Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp, Gaimin Gladiators showcased their dominance throughout the tournament.
The team had previously defeated Team Liquid in the grand final of the Lima Major, and they repeated the feat once again in this tournament, which included a new massive patch.
Despite Team Liquid’s dominance in the upper bracket, it was Gaimin Gladiators who ultimately proved their mettle in the lower bracket and eventually the grand final, demonstrating their incredible skill and teamwork to secure the championship title.
Aside from the prize money, they have also qualified for the Riyadh Masters, which will feature a whopping US$15 million prize pool.
