Former RRQ Hoshi team captain Rivaldi “R7” Fatah believes that the ‘King of Kings’ will undergo a massive overhaul for the MPL Philippines Season 11.
In a Discord session with other MPL personalities, R7 said that he feels that RRQ Hoshi’s core will be shaken up – citing burnout as one of the main reasons why.
“I feel that in Season 12, RRQ will be completely overhauled. It’s really burnout, guys. Season 10, lost, M4, lost, Season 11, lost, it’s definitely broken,” R7 said.
After winning the MPL Indonesia Season Nine, RRQ Hoshi found itself in a rut and lost the 2022 MSC, the MPL Indonesia Season 10, and the M4 World Championship.
Just recently, the team ended up at fourth place in Season 11 following huge upsets at the hands of Alter Ego and EVOS Legends in the playoffs.

RRQ Hoshi placed second in the regular season with a 9-5 win-loss standing which allowed them to clinch an upper bracket slot.
The team, however, lost 1-3 to Alter Ego in the upper bracket semis before getting booted out by eventual grand finalist EVOS Legends in the lower bracket semifinals in five games.
