Nathzz Explains Why He Looks Forward to Facing Sanford

Once considered as one of the best EXP laners in the league after RSG Slate PH’s title run in Season 9, Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo sees himself as the challenger.

Nathzz believes that ECHO’s Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya is the top player in their position this MPL Philippines Season 11 which is why he is looking forward to going up against the up-and-coming EXP laner on Sunday.

“Kasi parang bagong team lang po kami, tapos si Sanford po nag-champion siya. Challenger po ako ngayon kasi siya yung gusto kong lagpasan pa, si Sanford,” Nathzz said after RSG Slate PH’s win against Nexplay EVOS last Saturday.

“Challenger ako ngayon tapos siya yung tinitingala ko. Yun yung laging iniisip ko,” he added.

Nathzz shone in RSG Slate PH’s Game One loss to Nexplay EVOS, finishing with an 8-2-5 KDA line highlighted by a 1-on-4 outplay that resulted in a kill on the opposing team’s gold laner.

He then stepped it up a notch in Game Three, bagging home the match MVP award after a 4-1-10 KDA on Yu Zhong that powered the team’s win.

Nathzz looks to sustain his momentum against reigning world champion ECHO on Saturday at 6:30 PM.
