After another disappointing campaign in the M-series, Todak decided to shake things up and sign Filipino jungler Muj “Malikk” Malikk for the upcoming MPL Malaysia Season 11, the organization announced last Tuesday.
Malikk played for Bren Esports in Season Eight and Nine before eventually getting released prior to Season 10. During his time with the squad, he served as backup to star jungler Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno and Kenneth “Saxa” Fedellin, respectively.
“Introducing the first player, Malik from the Philippines who will play the role of Jungler,” Todak said in its Facebook post.

“Mujahid Usman Malik or better known as Malik is a former player from Bren Esports and once participated in MPL Philippines Season 8 and 9. Hopefully with Malik’s inclusion in Todak’s team will have a positive impact,” the statement read.
Todak, meanwhile, qualified to the upper bracket playoffs of the M4 World Championship last month but suffered a sweep at the hands of RRQ Hoshi before getting eliminated by The Valley in the lower bracket.
The team also played in the finals of the MPL Malaysia Season 10, losing to Team HAQ in the final in six games.
