Ribo Headlines List Of MPL Veterans in MDL PH

MPL PH Hall of Legend inductee CJ “Ribo” Ribo will headline the list of battle-tested veterans that will suit up in the inaugural MDL Philippines.

Ribo, who helped Bren Esports bag the MPL PH Season Six and M2 World Championship titles, will suit up for ZOL Esports in Season One of the MDL. He last played in the MPL back in Season Eight.

He will team up with another veteran in Christian “Iy4knu” Manaog in ZOL Esports.

Also part of the veteran cast are Kielvj “Kielvj” Hernandez (Omega Neos), Jeff “S4gitnu” Subang (Omega Neos), Jankurt “KurtTzy” Matira (ECHO Proud), Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz (ECHO Proud), and Mark “Dokmen” Nazar (GameLab).

The first season of MDL Philippines will feature eight teams including the eight franchised teams and two non-MPL teams.

These are Blacklist Academy, ECHO Proud, Omega Neos, ONIC Arsenals, NXPE Tiger Cubs, Bren x Euphoria Esports, TNC Neo, and RSG Ignite. 

The games will be held offline and will begin on February 15.
