Alliance will be fielding two squads for the next DPC ever since obtaining Tempest for the SA region. This will bolster their chance for TI12.

With their recent decline in 2022 DPC, Alliance would need to look for alternatives. Recently, they were spotted acquiring a South American team to bolster their chances to get into The International 12.

The team that Alliance would be acquiring was Tempest from the SA region, semi-confirmed by their DPC status.

Although the organization had not announced the acquisition yet, the apparent signs were already found. On the Dota Pro Circuit registration page, Tempest was seen registering with another team tag. They were now registered with the tag “Alliance.LATAM”.

As of right now, there were no players yet registering under the team, suggesting that the roster was not final yet.

However, there were already rumors of Alliance acquiring all of the Tempest’s former roster in addition to getting their slot. The players themselves were still teamless as of now. Most of the fans thought that they were standing by for the announcement.

With their performance last season, many thought Alliance would be acquiring a solid SA team.

Tempest had been a stable team in the last DPC season for the South America region. Although they did not manage to qualify for The International 11, they were barely able to fight against both beastcoast and Thunder Awaken.

Should their potential be realized, the new Alliance.LATAM could perform better to contest both the new EG and beastcoast.
