TI NA Qualifier: Soniqs Gets Revenge Against Nouns

After losing against Nouns in the Upper Bracket Final, Soniqs gets their revenge by winning the Grand Finals of TI11 NA Qualifier.

Many fans hadn’t expect Soniqs to go down to the Lower Bracket after losing against Nouns. However, Soniqs immediately bounced back and won the whole qualifier after beating both Wildcard and Nouns.

Although they were shaky at times, Soniqs performed to their best in the Grand Finals of TI11 NA Qualifier.

The first game went even as both teams trade kills during the early game. Nouns were ahead in terms of gold, but they can’t grab meaningful objective from the map.

Soniqs pick of Batrider and Enigma were proven to be decisive as those heroes prevented Nouns to breach high ground. In the end, Soniqs won the first game at the 44th minute of the game.

Nouns tried to go back with their own strategy of having Visage offlane and Phantom Lancer carry, which backfired horribly. They were dominated by Soniqs from the early game, with Quinn’s Batrider once again becoming the MVP of the game.

Although Nouns tried to hold off as much as they can, Yawar’s Phantom Assassin getting online means another victory for Soniqs at the 43rd minute.

Nouns tried to get back into the match by having Spectre surprise carry pick against Soniqs lineup. However, Quinn once again performed quite well and set the tempo with his Lina in both early and midgame.

As such, after a period of dominance, Soniqs eventually won the game at the 37th minute and qualify directly for The International 11.
