Self-Proclaimed Orca Manager Claims Forcing Players to Share Dota 2 Accounts

A random Facebook user who claims to be a manager of Orca is ‘taking’ full responsibility for their issue!

On March 12, SEA DPC organizer Beyond the Summit (BTS) decided to disqualify Orca from tour 2. Following this, BTS also told that Valve retroactively disqualified the team.

This means all its winnings including BTS Pro Series S10 where they have won.

In a now-deleted post, a certain Gary Ng on Facebook came forward to create more confusion. This person claimed to be the manager of Orca, and the owner of Team Apex.

As per Ng, he claims to be the mastermind behind the scandal. According to him, the gravity of the cause of his actions made him speak the ‘truth’.

Based on his deleted post, he forced Orca players to play for Apex due to money constraints. According to Gary, the time pressure since Bùi “hunghung” Văn Hùng and Nguyễn “Yasy” Châu Lợi were conflicting and eventually left the team made him push with his problematic decision.

“Because of the time constraint, and not willing to see the investment money which is all my savings go down the drain, I personally coerced the Orca players to play for Apex instead,” read his post.

Gary also claims that the players, in any way, were not involved in match-fixing. He also asked for the players to be granted “a chance to redeem themselves.”

Moon Studio’s co-founder, Moon Lim, did not believe this ploy as she claims that Apex’s owner was a lady. She also questioned how Gary was able to acquire ‘hunghung’ even though they weren’t friends on Discord.

As of this moment, involved players are yet to issue any admission of guilt, or an apology regarding the issue.
