Veewise to Skip MPL PH Season 9

After winning the M3 title with Blacklist, OhMyV33nus and Wise also known as the Veewise duo, decided to take a break from MLBB because they wanted some “family time”.

The Dynamic Duo of OhMyV33nus and Wise were terrifying throughout the MLBB tournaments. Even though they bowed to ONIC ID at the MPL Invitational, they went berserk and immediately crushed the M3 tournament. They beat their compatriot, ONIC PH, to win their first world title. It seems that, after that victory, the V33Wise duo decided to take a break.

Quoting from Facebook Blacklist International’s announcement, it looks like Veewise decided to take a break because they wanted to spend time with their family. Scrims and practices that are very repetitive throughout the year certainly drain their mental strength. Therefore, they decided to take a break from the International Blacklist for the MPL PH Season 9.

However, Blacklist said that they will be back for Season 10 later, as well as the upcoming M4. It is not yet known who will replace them in the upcoming MPL PH Season 9. However, this is definitely an opportunity for other Filipino teams to grab the MPL PH throne from Blacklist as long as the V33Wise duet has not returned.
