Rumors about OG’s massive overhaul seem to be true with the release of two of their young players, Sumail and Saksa. End of an era?

The surprising news that seems to confirm the swirling rumors that came from OG. Their two young players, Saksa and Sumail, have left OG effective Monday (8/11). OG released a statement of their release:

“During that meeting, both Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan and Martin “Saksa” Sazdov expressed their desires to pursue opportunities outside of OG for the upcoming season and we of course decided to grant their wishes.”

Apparently, they both decided to leave the OG team, not because they got kicked.

With this, OG players are now reduced to:

  • Topson (2)
  • Ceb (3)
  • N0tail (5)

With rumors that Topson and Ceb will retire, N0tail will have to undergo this roster change alone to face the upcoming DPC season. OG also gave notice that they will announce their new roster soon.

Even though they entered from the Open Qualifier, many expect OG to achieve a pretty good position in TI10. In fact, some OG fans are even hopeful that OG will get the “Threepeat” of The International. However, OG had to bow out of the competition against Team Spirit in the Lower Bracket. They had to settle for 7-8th position, equivalent to T1. This result seems to be the main consideration for the departure of Sumail and Saksa.

With this, the Dota 2 shuffle roster became exciting again! What do you think their new team will be like? Let us know your predictions in the comments!
