News spread from Fnatic after rumors circulated that Armel from TNC and Jaunuel from OB Neon would be joining their roster.
Fnatic ended their journey at The International 10 by finishing 9-12th after losing against Team Spirit 0-2. They share rankings with other strong teams like Alliance and EG. However, they finished below their fellow SEA team, T1, which ranked 7-8th, on par with OG.
This result made them realize that there had to be a change.
This change occurred when Fnatic announced that the release of ChYuan and Deth on Thursday (21/10). They’re rumored to quickly secure two SEA talents who have enormous potential, namely Armel and Jaunuel.
Armel: Rising Star of Dota 2 SEA
Armel is one of the rising stars from SEA who plays for TNC Predators. He is one of the SEA players who quickly achieved 11,000 MMR at the end of 2020.
However, his great performance was not enough to bring TNC to TI10 after losing against Fnatic in the SEA Qualifier. Many said that one of the factors behind Armel’s supposed departure from the roster was TNC’s failure to enter TI10.
Jaunuel: Hidden Gem of Dota 2 SEA
Jaunuel is one of the veteran rising stars of SEA who got his chance to shine in OB Neon. Many predict Jaunuel will leave OB Neon and join a stronger SEA team like TNC or Fnatic. His performance to become MVP in one of OB Neon’s matches in a hard support position is a testament to his talent.
